Hi! My name is George and I am 28 years old! I am a software engineer specializing in building web and mobile applications. I have graduated from the University of East London with a BSc in Computer Science with First Class Honours.
Early in my career, I worked as a Customer Support Representative at Uber in Athens, Greece and then moved on to become an SME at Uber in Krakow, Poland.
After Uber, I worked for 3 years at the National Bank of Greece as a React Native developer, building and launching the NBG Business Mobile Banking application, as well as helping launch the NBG Next app.
Currently, I am working as a Frontend Engineer at Intelligencia, a company that uses Artificial Intelligence to de-risk drug development.

Booknote AI
BookNote.AI is a service that helps you learn key information from books of interest and engage with them. Users can swiftly uncover the essence of a book with the help of an AI assistant, adept at extracting insights and elevating discussions. The project was developed using Next JS, Tailwind CSS and Pusher JS for the token generation process. Deployment was done using Vercel.
WebLab Technology
Website for a software development company based in Ukraine. The whole project lasted 2 months and was developed using Next JS, Tailwind CSS and AWS. Part of the development involved a Careers section which fetches data dynamically using a CSV file that is provided at build time. A design was provided by the client and I was responsible for the development and deployment. Deployment was done using Vercel.
Eatalians
Website for a very successful local restaurant in Ilioupoli, Attica. A custom design that matches the interior and theming of the restaurant was provided and the whole project lasted 1 month in total. The website was developed using React and Tailwind CSS and is hosted at papaki.com.
Wanderness
(Deprecated) Website for a new startup based in Amsterdam. This was a rental platform for people from abroad who wanted to work in Greece due to Covid and the explosion of remote work at the time. The whole project lasted 1 month and was developed with WordPress and used Stripe to handle payments. Initially, the website was successful, but after some time, the founding members decided to fund another startup and the website was shut down.
